October skiing in Hintertux

Fist ski day of season 2019-2020. It was a nice October weekend but there was no snow anywhere in the Alps below 3000 meters. But just above in Hintertux the conditions were actually pretty good with a bit of new snow and plenty of sun shine and cool weather.

The conditions on the North side of Alps has have been warm and dry. The South side has received record snow fall in November, but I have stayed on the north side waiting for winter to start. I hope ski tours will soon be possible since it's already December...
